Bifurcation of Oscillatory State in a System with Three Neurons

Abstract(in English) We are interested in complicated oscillatory phenomena of neural oscillators with several neurons. In this paper, we consider the oscillatory phenomena and their bifurcations of a neural oscillator with three neurons: two excitatory and one inhibitory neurons. The bifurcation diagrams are obtained by changing two parameters: the time constant and the bias of an excitatory neuron. The hard oscillations and the period doubling cascade are observed in the parameter region. Transition of attractors and chaotic oscillations are also illustrated.
