| 抄録(和) | 誤差逆伝搬学習ニューラルネットワークの画像パターンの特徴抽出機能を解析するため,前処理なしの車両前面画像からの車種識別を学習させたところ,未学習の入力パターンに対して約83%の識別率が得られた。これは前処理を行った場合と同等であり,ニューラルネットワークがこれと同程度の特徴抽出能力を持つと言える。また人間に対する同じような条件の下での試行実験の場合も同様の結果であった。その学習後のネットワークの内部表現を調べるため,逆方向写像, Alopex法,グラディエント法,GA法の4つの方法によって中間ユニットや出力ユニットの入力層に対する受容野を求めた。その結果各ユニットが入力層に対してそれぞれ固有の形状のテンプレートを形成していることが明らかになった。 |
| 抄録(英) | Backpropagation neural networks were trained to discrimate automobile types by front images without preprocessing for analysis of feature extraction ability in image recognition. The discrimination rate of about 83% was obtained. Since it is almost the same as the discrimination rates in the learning with some preprocessing, it is considered that the networks have the comparable ability of feature extraction. The internal representation of the network was analyzed by the calculation of receptive fields of the hidden and output units employing backward mapping, Alopex algorithm, gradient method and genetic algorithm. It is shown that the units construct different templates out of input images. |
