Photonic Ring Network using Optical Codes

Abstract(in English) Recently, data traffic (or capacity of transmission) is rapidly increasing by the diffusion whose Internet is explosive and high speed data service. For this reason, ability beyond Tbps of necessity and a photonic transactional technique is about to become indispensable as for communicative traffic of backbone net. A former optical technique is development with WDM transmission system, OADM device, OXC device and it is asked for development of photonic router/forwarding device secondly. In this paper, in order to perform early goods creation of a photonic packet switch technique using optical codes, optical MAC switch in the event that it is applied to photonic ring network was examined. An optical buffer is not needed in ring network and forwarding device can be configuration in only a switch. And, since a method that become bit rate freedom by same correlation device was examined about spread/despread diffusion of the optical code that turns into a key of this device. We are performed easy experiment and shown favourable result.
