Abstraction and routing in an optical network : Performance evaluation in case of a link-state routing protocol

Abstract(in English) We propose a method to share information on device characteristics of transparent cross-connects among sub-networks as abstracted reachability. We demonstrate implementation guideline into a link-state routing protocol using traffic engineering links and evaluate wavelength path setup failure ratio due to transmission impairment within a 2-diminsional square grid model network having 288 cross-connects.
