Abstract(in English) In this paper, we propose an optical access network system that uses subcarrier multiplexing transmission to support both Gigabit Ethernet and stream signals easily and at low cost, and describe a new subcarrier multiplexing technique, we call it the baseband and modified subcarrier multiplexing (BMSM) scheme, with its principal and results of the fundamental experiment. Moreover, we introduce the development of a network interface card for PCs that hosts the proposed multiplexing function, and demonstrate its transmission characteristics.
