Abstract(in Japanese) (See Japanese page)
Abstract(in English) In star access optical network, the number of ONUs and transmission distance are restricted by the smallest permissible loss system. So ONUs need more sensitive photo-diode and wider dynamic range. To solve these problems we propose an example of configuration in controlling optical power using thermo-optic effect and a method of controlling optical power. And to estimate the method we show some results of simulation, which are characteristic of Minimum optical received power, Dynamic range and the number of ONUs.
