Abstract(in Japanese) (See Japanese page)
Abstract(in English) Optical fiber transmission systems with compensation of pulse distortion utilizing a midway phase conjugator requires a symmetry of link parameters about the midpoint. In this paper, we numerically investigate dispersion maps of a dispersion managed fiber link suitable for RZ pulse transmission with distortion compensation using a phase conjugator. It is predicted for a fiber link, in which the dispersion map is symmetrized about the midpoint, to extend transmission distance if the second half of the link can support soliton effect.
