Abstract(in Japanese) (See Japanese page)
Abstract(in English) An incoherent optical code division multiplexing(OCDM)system is mainly limited by the code interference from other channels. To reduce the code interference, an OCDM canceller system based on four wave mixing is effective. In this study, the bit error rate is calculated with the influence of the miss synchronization and the walk off between the signal light and the pump one. The results of the calculation, it is found that the walk off is serious problem for shorter pulse width. In order to suppress the walk off, the dispersion flat line and the high nonlinear fiber are used as the nonlinear medium to generate the FWM light. As the results, it is confirmed that the influence of the walk off is negligible for more than 1ps of pulse width. Therefore it is found that the performance of this system is improved.
