Abstract(in Japanese) (See Japanese page)
Abstract(in English) To support large amount of data traffic, optical path routing nodes are required to route a large number of paths efficiently without increasing the number of NW elements such as optical switch ports and transmission fibers. In this paper, we introduce Higher Order Optical Path(HO-OP)that bundles several optical paths for the purpose of reducing network elements, and evaluate its merits by using path accommodation setting simulations. This method can decrease not only the number of switch ports but also NW total elements.
