Abstract(in English) We developed SFP (Small Form-factor Pluggable) short wavelength optical transceiver of small size (volume 8.4ml) and low power consumption (0.5 W) that conformed to FC-PI and also SFP MSA that are a de facto standard. Adopting Duplex-LC and also MT-RJ connector to optical interface, miniaturization has been materialized in comparison with GBIC (Duplex-SC connector adoption). Furthermore, the interconnection is possible in all of a conventional optical transceiver (CD-LD) and confirmed a fine characteristic in DVT.
