Abstract(in Japanese) (See Japanese page)
Abstract(in English) The authors have already proposed a photonic IP switching system for the next generation Internet, in which a set of CDM codes for multiple-encoding are utilized as routing information. However, in this method, in order to hold down inter-channel crosstalk caused by intersymbol interference, we must impose constraints on CDM code assignment. This paper clarifies the constraints needed on code assignment, which restrict, decoders in nodes located apart. In addition, a code assignment method for this switching system is proposed for reduction of code set. Feasibility of this system is also considered through application of the assignment method.
