Abstract(in English) | Terabit-class node for next generation IP backbone network is taken into consideration.A next generation backbone node requires higher-speed line interfaces, large capacity switching fabric, and high port density line card.In addition, MPLS(Multi-Protocol Label Switching), filtering function, and carrier class reliability are necessary as well.As one of key technologies to meet these requirements, we propose a distributed parallel processing switch architecture to realize a terabit-class node.In this paper, switch architecture and simulation results of performance are described. |
