| Abstract(in English) | To realize high-speed and economical ATM-PON systems, we have developed an optical module for Optical Line Terminal with 155Mb/s and 622Mb/s downstream.This module is composed of a LD driver IC operating both 155Mb/s 622Mb/s and a LD/PD/WDM hybrid integrated optical device for size and cost reduction.By modeling cross-talk characteristics between LD and PD of this integrated optical device, we found cross-talk reduction mehtods and realized low power penalty less than 0.5dB.Our module satisfies ITU-T recommendation G.983 of downstream bit rate both 155Mb/s and 622Mb/s for Optical Distribution Network class both B and C. |
