Abstract(in Japanese) (See Japanese page)
Abstract(in English) The employment of a centralized lightsource and ring topology may possibly realize simple, flexible and highly reliable WDM access platform. In this paper, we propose a simple node configuration for the network and report the experimental result that confirmed the node performance. We also describe a method to distribute down stream signals, network scalability, and a merit of a WDM ring using centralized lightsource compared with a conventional WDM ring using local lasers.
