High accuracy tunable wavelength laser

Abstract(in English) We developed a tunable wavelength laser source with a high wavelength accuracy by using a frequency standard laser source and an optical resonator. Lasers output from a frequency standard laser source whose oscillation frequency was locked to an absorption line of acetylene gas and a tunable wavelength laser source were incident to an optical resonator whose resonance frequencies were swept by saw tooth wave signal. The optical resonator output two pulse trains which corresponded to the lasers. The frequency difference of the lasers was estimated from phase difference between the two pulse trains. Oscillation frequency of the tunable wavelength laser source was controlled by which a signal depending on the frequency difference was fed back to the tunable wavelength light source.
