Abstract(in Japanese) (See Japanese page)
Abstract(in English) This paper proposes a large-scale packet switch with virtual output queue using WDM interconnect and novel packet-scheduling scheme. In this scheduling, input variable-length packets are not fragmented into fixed small-sized packets, plural packets are aggregated as controlled simultaneously. The simulation results show that the proposed switch architecture has 100% throughput like output-queue switch and this architecture is suitable for effective priority control.
