Abstract(in Japanese) (See Japanese page)
Abstract(in English) Optical access networks must be constructed economically and immediately to enable us realize FTTH(Fiber To The Home). Therefore, total cost reduction including installation, maintenance and operation is required. In this paper we describe the requirements, structures and performances of feeder, termination and distribution optical fiber cables used as one of the main component of optical access network.
