| 抄録(和) | 本報告は、各種偏波モード分散 (PMD) 測定法の比較について述べたもので、ITU-Tの国際PMDラウンドロビン測定結果について述べている。17機関の参加したPMDラウンドロビン測定結果より、空間形の干渉法、ジョーンズマトリクス (JME) 法、ポアンカレ球 (PS) 法、偏光状態 (SOP) 法は、他の光ファイバ形の干渉法、固定アナライザ (FA) 法 (極値カウント法、FFT法) に比べて安定していることが分かった。 |
| 抄録(英) | This paper presents a comparison of various polarization mode dispersion (PMD) measurement methods. Also, the results of an extensive intercomparison of the ITU-T PMD round robin measurements, coordinated by KDD are presented and discussed. The seventeen laboratories from all over the world participated in the intercomparison of the PMD round robin measurements. It was found that the air path type interferometric method, Jones matrix eigenanalysis method, Poincare sphere method and state of polarization method were superior to the fiber reference type interferometric method, and the fixed analyzer methods with extrema counting and Fourier transformation analysis. |
