Abstract(in Japanese) | (See Japanese page) |
Abstract(in English) | We propose a novel architecture for a large-scale switch "FRASH" (Frequency Multiplexed Routing and Selecting Hybrid) for an optical cross-connect. The FRASH switch is based on both WDM routing and wavelength selecting technologies. For a large-scale switch, the FRASH switch provides good transmission characteristics compared with a conventional Clos structure. We confirmed good performance of the FRASH switch by a 10 Gb/s signal transmission experiment. |
