Abstract(in English) | The spectral efficiency and transmission distance of the DWDM transmission system are limited by interchannel interferences among neighboring channels or fiber-optic nonlinear effects such as the FWM. In this report, a DWDM system using the spectrum coding technique of the ST-CDM (Spread Time - Code Division Multiplexing) and its performance are discussed. Our computer simulation results show that the system is able to achieve remarkable performance improvement compared with a DWDM system without ST-CDM technique and 10Gbit/s/ch transmission over 200km with the channel spacing of 0.2nm. |
