Abstract(in English) | Optical customer access systems have been being deployed to provide a wide variety of broadband services. The PDS system is a cost-effective solution to achieve it. Design method of the system should be described to improve both its cost-effectiveness and capability. This paper proposes a new method that can make an OSU efficiently accommodate many ONUs. Its benefits are quantitatively estimated using statistical simulations. |
