Abstract(in Japanese) (See Japanese page)
Abstract(in English) ADSL is greatly expected as a technology which enables metallic telephone lines to be used for Megabits class data transmission. The Internet service by ADSL has already begun in North America and Europe. But, in Japan the crosstalk from the ISDN with AMI-TCM line code (TCM-ISDN) makes the loop reach of ADSL less than half of the reach expected in North America. In ITU-T, the specification of ADSL has been developed and the Dual Bitmap method which adapts ADSL for co-existing with TCM-ISDN has been proposed. In this report, first, we described the interference between TCM-ISDN and ADSL. Next, we explained basic mechanism of Dual Bitmap method, and finally we showed some experimental results.
