Abstract(in Japanese) | (See Japanese page) |
Abstract(in English) | OMODS (Optical Modified Duobinary Signal) is a suit code for high-speed, long-distance optical transmission systems. We investigated the characteristics of OMODS from viewpoints of dispersion tolerance and suppression of near-dc components by simulations and experiments. We showed OMODS has the capability of 2 times as large as NRZ's dispersiontolerance and higher tolerance to suppression of near-dc components than NRZ's. |
