Abstract(in English) | An Ultra high speed A-D converter over 10GHz is very important in advanced measurement. The ultra high speed A-D converter using all photonic technologies is investigated in terms of its feasibility. An input signal is sampled by optical pulse and converted into frequency shift amount by NOLM, and then discriminated by AWG. A proposed optical A-D converter has the performance of 2bit A-D convertion at sampling rate of 40GHz. |
