Abstract(in English) In this paper, possibilities of increasing the number of multiplexing channels by controlling the launching pulse timing are discussed in WDM systems using dispersion slope management. A novel idea which allows pulse collisions only between channels with some wavelength difference and non-collision among close wavelength channels is proposed. Our simulation results show that the proposed system can easily increase the number of channels by suppressing the nonlinearities such as FWM and XPM, and has good characteristics in high capacity transmission.
