抄録(和)	本稿では、ABR(Available Bit Rate)サービスのための新しいER(Explicit Rate)計算アルゴリズムであるLBERC(Load Based Explicit Rate Control)を提案し、帯域割当ての公平性、初期TCPウインドウサイズの動作への影響、TCP/IP over ATM環境での輻輳抑制効果について検討した。特に、ウインドウフロー制御を基本としたTCPと、レート制御を基本としたABRの相互作用について、その評価を行った。また、UBR(Unspecified Bit Rate)と特性比較を行った。評価のために計算機シミュレーション結果を用いた。
抄録(英)	In this paper, we propose a new explicit-rate mode ABR algorithm called Load Based Explicit Rate Control (LBERC), that can ensure fair bandwidth allocation, quickly ramp-up TCP window size, and reduce congestion over the Internet on ATM. In particular, we also present results of TCP over ABR with LBERC to verify the compatibility of the interaction between TCP-window-based flow control and ABR-rate-based flow control. We also show characteristics using UBR for comparison. The results are verified by simulation.
