Abstract(in Japanese) (See Japanese page)
Abstract(in English) The latest diversification of the services based on ATM requires a larger capacity and higher processing power of ATM switching system. A multiprocessor that allows for flexible system configuration will be an effective means to meet such requirements. Intended to establish a multiprocessor technology in the call processing of ATM switching system, some models of load distribution system will be discussed. This paper will describe how to manage the resources to be shared by respective processors and propose the call processing load distribution models compared for the common resource management.
