Abstract(in English) Recently PDS optical access network is widely developed because low cost can be achieved sharing an SLT with ONUs. We have developed a 50Mbps burst mode optical receiver IC using 0.35um CMOS process. Our target is (1) it can be used without adjustment, (2) it contains a pre-amplifier, an AGC amplifier, and a comparator, (3) low noise characteristics can be achieved in a plastic package, (4) stable operation under wide temperature range. The result of the evaluation shows the minimum optical received power of-43dBm~-41dBm under -20℃~85℃. And the variation of the minimum optical received power is satisfactorily suppressed.
