Abstract(in Japanese) (See Japanese page)
Abstract(in English) We examined intermodulation distortion in heterodyne detection optical-fiber millimeter-wave links. As a result, 'it is shown in 2ch millimeter-wave signal transmission that the second-order distortion appears close to the signal frequency, different from the IM-DD systems. We generated 2ch of millimeter-wave signals (38.5GHz and 38.6GHz) in the experiment, and measured the distortion and demonstrated validity of analysis result. In case of three optical carriers, we show the reduction technique of second-order distortion by appropriate arrangement of optical carrier frequencys.
