Abstract(in Japanese) (See Japanese page)
Abstract(in English) To suppress the waveform distortion in the 10 Gb/s based WDM long distance transmission systems, we have proposed and investigated the bit interleaved binary polarization modulation method, in which each bit is orthogonally polarized with neighboring bits. The effectiveness of this modulation scheme in the 10 Gb/s based WDM long distance transmission was clarified through both simulation and experiment.
