Abstract(in English) Since zero-dispersion wavelength of optical fiber has temperature dependence, in high-speed, long-haul transmission systems whose dispersion tolerance is almost equal to dispersion fluctuation due to temperature variation, adaptive dispersion equalization in service is necessary. We propose the system which can detect dispersion fluctuation using PM-AM conversion and can equalize using signal wavelength control. We also demonstrate the transmission experiment using this system. We show that the detection sensitivity of zero-dispersion wavelength fluctuation is ±0.2 nm(detection sensitivity of dispersion fluctuation is ± 4.2 ps/nm) experimentally and this system can relax transmission limit theoretically. The dispersion fluctuation can be detected and the receiver sensitivity can be suppressed in 40 Gbit/s, 3 linear repeater, 300 km transmission line.
