Abstract(in English) Recently, many system demonstrations of the ultra-large capacity transmission have been performed. In order to extend the transmission capacity, an enlargement of the gain bandwidth of an erbium-doped fiber amplifier and an efficient use of the gain bandwidth are the key technologies. In this paper, we report on the ultra-large capacity transmission experiments utilizing an high-aluminium co-doped erbium doped fiber amplifier and dense WDM of 0.3nm channel separation.
