Abstract(in Japanese) (See Japanese page)
Abstract(in English) Optical code division multiplexing (OCDM) systems have several advantages compared with OTDM systems and WDM systems, for example, multiplexing and demultiplexing are very easy. However, conventional OCDM systems have a serious disadvantage of lower bit rate because of encoding the infomation bit by using long optical orthogonal codes to reduce interchannel interferences. In this paper, an OCDM system using Hadamard codes and sequence inversion keying (SIK)is proposed and its performance is discussed via computer simulation results. This system realizes fast bit rate compared with the conventional OCDM systems up to one of the OTDM systems.
