Highy Accurate Line Fault Localization Technique

Abstract(in English) This paper describes Rayleigh backscatter reflectometry technique which is achieved by using high loss backward path in an optical amplifier repeater and coherent detection OTDR at a terminal for precise line fault localization of optical amplifier system.We also shows OTDR method will be very effective for maintenance technique of optical amplifier system.
