Abstract(in Japanese) (See Japanese page)
Abstract(in English) Spectral-multiple interferometory is described for detecting high-speed signals whose bandwidth exceeds that of conventional electrical circuits. In this method, the cross-correlation between the signal light and a local (reference) light with synthesized spectrum or waveform is measured by the interferometric process. Typical application include demultiplexing of high-speed signals and packet detection. In the experiment, based on the interferometric detection principle, the single-shot detection of phase-modulated packets using a local light generated by an independently oscillating mode-locked laser.
