Abstract(in English) | Crosstalk performance improvement of multi-stage optical multiplexer has been shown in an ideal case. To confirm the feasibility of the circuit, crosstalk performance degradation due to the AWG fabrication error is studied. From the result, the allowable limit of the fabrication errors is derived. Funrthermore from the dependence of crosstalk performance on the stage number,it is concluded that 2 or 3-stage cascading is most desirable. |
