Abstract(in Japanese) (See Japanese page)
Abstract(in English) A high resolution reflectometry by using both optical gating and synthesis of optical coherence function is proposed for testing optical devices at a long distance. Suppressing influences of optical phase fluctuation in long-lentgh optical fiber due to environmental fluctuations by using rather high speed synthesis of the coherence function, reflections at optical connectors at a distance of 5 km are measured with the spatial resolution of about 6 cm.
