Abstract(in Japanese) (See Japanese page)
Abstract(in English) To suppress fiber nonlinearities, dispersion shifted fibers are discussed with enlarged effective core areas (A_) from 65 to 85 μm^2. These fibers have excellent macrobending performance by considering length dependence of cutoff wavelength and by employing the dual shaped core profile with depressed cladding.
