Abstract(in English) | Massive WDM scheme is very successful in these days. But simple star network based on a 1 wavelength channel have advantages of cost and reliability. Recently OTDM scheme is developed to attain very high bit rate by 1 channel but it is not clear the optimum fiber dispersion and pulse peak power. We investigated the transmission characteristics of RZ pulses by the computer simulation and indicated that nonlinear transmission on the slightly abnormal dispersion is suitable for the RZ pulse transmission. |
