| Abstract(in English) | Low loss and low cost are important factors in light wave circuit. Y-branch is the fundamental unit in light wave circuit. The loss in a branching part was investigated in detail, taking notice of low cost, by employing the Beam Propagation Method (BPM). The result of this approach are presented in this report. |
