Dynamic signal response characteristics of erbium doped optical waveguide amplifiers

Abstract(in English) Theoretical analysis and experimental investigations of the optical properties of integrated optical waveguide amplifiers are presented. Dynamic and steady-state characteristics of Erbium doped crystal thin film waveguide have been analyzed for the amplification of light signals in the 1.53 μm band. The optical properties such as loss, fluorescence and absorption spectra have been investigated which are further used for the numerical calculations on the characteristics of the amplifier. The numerical results and the future directions are also presented.
