Abstract(in English) Jelly filled SZ slotted rod cable is superior for mid span access. And it has good performance in preventing optical fiber moving and water blocking by jelly. But it is complicated for jointing optical fiber of these cable, so non jelly type cable is required. We studied relation between slot pitch and pulling force of fiber and found that shortened slot pitch was effective for preventing optical fiber moving.
