Abstract(in English) A digital photonic device has advantages of no loss, or crosstalk with simple setup because of its bit by bit signal processing functions. It will be usefull for future optical network between backbone and end-user networks. We study a digital photonic switches that is a side-injection light-controlled bistable lasser-diode(SILC-BLD). This laser switch easily integrates the function of wavelength conversion, signal regeneration, gating and bit-memory functions. We show the experimental result of signal processing, such as digital signal regeneration, optical direct DEMUX and all optical bit-width conversion.
