Abstract(in English) | Wideband (34nm) wavelength converter and optical phase conjugate converter by four wave mixing in dispersion arranged high-nonlinear dispersion shifted fibers was developed. The converter can reduce the number of converters because it convert WDM signals simultaneously, and have advantage for long-distance transmission of WDM signals. Using the converter, we demonstrate simultaneous wavelength conversion and transmission over 105km single mode fiber of 200Gb/s (5×40Gb/s) WDM signals, successfully. |
