Abstract(in English) Four compact multi-chip-modules providing integrated transceiver functions have been developed for 10Gbps lightwave transceivers. Each multi-chip-module includes several GaAs-ICs in order to provide specific integrated transceiver functions. Very clear output waveforms of all multi-chip-modules are successfully achieved. Moreover, the results of the sensitivity of -14.8dBm and -32.1dBm at 10^<-9> BER when using an optical pre-amplifier have confirmed the applicability of the developed four compact multi-chip-modules to 10Gbps lightwave transceivers.
