10Gb/s analogue IC set for optical communication systems

Abstract(in English) We have designed and fabricated analogue IC set using 0.2μm gate InGdAs/GaAs pseudomorphic BP-MESFETs for 10Gb/s optical communication systems. LN modulator driver has been developed for optical transmitter, and preamplifier, AGC amplifier, post amplifier, slicer amplifier, rectifier and clock limiting amplifier have been developed for optical receiver. Using these IC set, the optical transmitter and the receiver have shown the minimum and maximum received optical power of -21dBm and +6dBm at a bit-error-rate of 10^<-9> respectively with 31st stage PRB S signals in back to back configuration.
