Abstract(in English) Dispersion-shifted fibers with a high effective area are suitable for WDM transmission. The high effective area lower nonlinear effects. Various type of fibers have been studied for this purpose. In this paper, we show an optimized fiber profile with a high effective area and a small chromatic dispersion slope.
