Abstract(in Japanese) (See Japanese page)
Abstract(in English) A method of feeding an optical fiber unit through a pipe cable by compressed air can be considered as one of the means of constructing a fiber-optic subscriber line. We proposed the flexible and economical distribution system by using PASS. This report describes that sub-distribution cable for residential premises and 6-pipes cable for the trunk line of building were developed and examined. And, we developed the optical fiber units that these was applied to each. We evaluated them and these cables and units were confirmed to be practical use.
