Abstract(in Japanese) (See Japanese page)
Abstract(in English) Cost effectiveness and low power dissipation are important for the in-house type equipment. In developing the in-house type V-ONU, by newly designing a high-linearity GaAs-MMIC with plastic mold package, low power dissipation is realized. Besides, by developing a twin-peaking OE circuit (compensation of frequency response), a low-moise and broadband OE module is realized using a standard PD module with relatively high capacity. Applying these technology, an in-house type V-ONU for the video distribution system for subscribers.
