Transmission Characteristics of Error Detecting Optical Codes for Quantum Noise

Abstract(in English) In this paper, we study on transmission characteristics of error detecting optical codes. Firstly, we consider an even parity code, an odd parity code and a parity less code, and analyze error characteristics of the codes with quantum noise and external noise. Secondly, we evaluate error characteristics of PPM, PolSK and PSK based on odd parity code, and it is shown that PSK is the most effective.
